I was inspired to put together some super simple Easter crafts for my Talk is Cheap column in the Knoxville News Sentinel. I couldn’t resist making these bunny masks and instead of Easter eggs, I like the idea of giving the toddlers these little Easter Bunny cups so they can grow their own ‘bunny fur’. Egg-citing Easter Weekend in Knoxville
The kids are out of school and I’m ready for a long weekend with my little munchkins (may have to hide their Lego Ninjago figures to prevent their usual squabbles). Call before the end of the day on March 29 to save your spot. UT Gardens will be holding its annual Easter Egg Hunt “Eggstravaganza” from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday March 31. Look forward to children’s Easter crafts, spring activities and visits with the Easter Bunny. The Egg hunts will be held in the Gardens and will begin at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Easter Egg Hunt in Fountain City
The Fountain City Easter Egg Hunt will be from 9 a.m.-noon on Saturday March 31. The event is free and open to the public in Fountain City Park. The Easter Bunny will be there too. Hunts start at 9.30 a.m. for ages 4-7; 10.15 for ages 1-3; and 11 a.m. for ages 8-12. Parents won’t be allowed in the hunt. Small kids must be able to walk on their own to participate.
