A Pinterest-ing we will go: Dr Seuss Birthday Celebrations

Dr Seuss party celebrations have been kicked up a notch with the feature film The Lorax due for release on March 2. So I scoured Pinterest for lots of gorgeous inspiration. I know, any excuse, and I wasn’t disappointed. This should keep me the kids busy until it’s time to start on Easter Crafts.

And the moustache craze continues, why not make a few of these Lorax moustaches and set up a photo booth like the one above for the kids?

This snack is yummy and educational, practice counting with this one fish, two fish treat!

Kids love plain ol’ pipe cleaners, twist them into these cute Dr Seuss characters.

Handprint art never gets old and here it is reinvented as Thing 1 and Thing 2.

Dr Seuss’ Cat in the Hat signature hats are cute, but for something different try these cute party hats in Seuss-like colors.

Truffula Trees out of play-doh and pipe cleaners, craft heaven for little hands.

These Thing 1 and Thing 2 cupcakes are easy to make, just top with blue cotton candy.

Do you celebrate Dr Seuss’ birthday at home or school? Do you have anything special planned or have you created something cool for past celebrations?
