Being a foreigner Mardi Gras is a holiday I’m not used to celebrating. And to be honest I usually like my colors and celebrations to be a little more sedate. But when my pal, who’s hosting a Mardi Gras get together said she was trying to come up with a kids’ craft my little ears perked up. Did somebody say “Craft?” So of course I hit Pinterest and filled a board in no time.
Here are just a couple of the cute ideas I’m dying to tackle!
Totally over the top, but I love these masks/head dresses, let the kids really go to town with glitter, feathers and more.
The perfect excuse to buy tons of Mardi Gras beads – an outdoor chandelier for your patio. Just string and spray your favorite color.
These teeny crowns are a great recycling craft.
You can wear this mask again during the spring, why not to a Dogwood Arts Festival event?
Itty bitty DIY pinwheels are super easy to make and once you get the hang of them you can make them for every holiday.
I prefer these vibrant cupcakes over the creepy baby cakes…
Happy Mardi Gras!

We LOVE Mardi Gras!!!
Fun roundup! Thanks for including my beaded chandelier!
You have a real knack for finding the most amazing crafts. Those masks are spectacular. I hope we have time to try them out!
